Kristi Harris

Kristi Harris is an artist who hails from the Fjords of Poulsbo WA. She draws inspiration from the ethereal instances of nature and human life experiences. Through her delicate strokes and vibrant colors she captures the fleeting moments often overlooked, and transforms them into timeless works of art. With a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the beauty and humor in imperfection, Harris depicts the world around us in a way that brings to light the often overlooked magic that happens in everyday life. Her works serve as a reminder to ease our hastiness and appreciate the everyday ethereal. Through her art, Kristi strives to recapture lost pieces of our souls that we, knowing or not, sacrifice in the name of progress - to connect us to the ever-evolving world in which we reside. She leans into her imagination by seeking out new stories to capture, while she brings to form the healing nature of creation.

Sketches in Bloom: a digital series created using Procreate which combines synthetic mixed media types to create an illustrative figure surrounded by floral accents. The truly unique nature of these digital works allows the combination of media which would not otherwise bind (or last) outside of a digital canvas.
