Galaxy Bloom

Description

Galaxy Bloom is a show stopper featuring a unique floral scape comprised of organic shapes and exaggerated colors. This painting developed its own organic petal shapes as the artist painted a heavily water saturated wash across the cotton cold press paper. Kristi, the artist, used the pigment bleed pattern which dried on the paper, to develop the overall shape of the primary blooms.
