It’s that beautiful, chaotic time again—paintbrushes flying, last-minute details being finalized, and a creative buzz filling the studio. With two major events just around the corner, I wanted to pause for a moment to share what’s been happening behind the scenes.

A Grand Opening to Remember

Next month, we’re teaming up with Tys Wine and Brew for the grand opening of a new art exhibition, and I couldn’t be more excited. This show represents months of work, some late nights, and a lot of experimentation. There’s something really special about seeing your pieces leave the studio and take on a new life in a public space—and sharing them over a glass of wine doesn’t hurt either.

As an artist, it’s easy to get stuck in the solitude of creating. But art is meant to be shared, discussed, and experienced together. That’s why this event feels so important. It’s more than just a show—it’s a celebration of community, connection, and creative growth.

Makers Unite in Poulsbo

Right on the heels of the exhibition is the Poulsbo Makers Faire—happening the 4th Friday in June. This will be my second time participating and hosting remember folks I work with the Cultural Arts Foundation Northwest and founded this event, and I’m really looking forward to joining other local makers and showcasing what we do. I’ll be bringing a selection of original works, prints, and some new pieces that haven’t been seen before.

These events remind me why I started this studio in the first place: to create, connect, and contribute to something bigger than myself.
